当国家走进世界舞台的中央，在国际的非政府医疗人道救援组织的板块上，中国人不可缺席。

When the country enters the center of the world stage, Chinese people cannot be absent from the international non-governmental medical and humanitarian relief organizations.

从意念萌芽到落实，我们感谢一班志同道合的有心人及捐款人的支持，在香港创办共享基金会，将中国人的善心和爱心带到「一带一路」沿线国家，践行「民心相通」。

From the germination of ideas to the implementation, we thank a group of like-minded people and donors for their support in establishing the Sharing Foundation in Hong Kong, bringing the kindness and love of the Chinese people to countries along the the Belt and Road, and practicing "people to people".

共享基金会在2018年成立，我们善用一国两制的优势，以香港为总部，为「一带一路」沿线国家提供医疗人道援助。基金会英文名称GX，源于共享（Gong Xiang）的拼音首两字母，近期以「消除白内障致盲项目」为旗舰项目。我们组织我国自治区及省份包括广西、山西、福建和黑龙江的医护人员，到各个受援国开展免费的白内障手术，旨在「消除」在该国或一省或地区因白内障而致盲的积压病例，所有手术均会在基金会在广东顺德制造的“途稳行”牌移动手术车上进行。

GX Foundation was established in 2018. We make good use of the advantages of one country, two systems, and take Hong Kong as the headquarters to provide medical and humanitarian assistance to countries along the the Belt and Road. The English name GX of the foundation is derived from the first two letters of the Pinyin of Gong Xiang. Recently, it has taken the "Cataract Blinding Elimination Project" as its flagship project. We organize medical staff from our autonomous regions and provinces, including Guangxi, Shanxi, Fujian, and Heilongjiang, to carry out free cataract surgeries in various recipient countries, with the aim of "eliminating" the backlog of cases of blindness caused by cataracts in that country or province or region. All surgeries will be carried out on the "Tourwin" brand mobile surgical vehicle manufactured by the Foundation in Shunde, Guangdong.

在2022年，全球各国正面临新冠疫情，基金会克服了不少的困难，于9月中起先后在老挝全国、柬埔寨的波罗勉省、东非吉布提全国启动手术项目，后来在2023年的10月延伸至西非毛里塔尼亚全国以及塞内加尔的法蒂克大区。直至今天，我们在五国共完成超过6,100例免费复明手术，为众多患者带来光明，让无数患者重获新生。

In 2022, countries around the world are facing the COVID-19. The Foundation has overcome many difficulties, and has launched surgery projects in Laos, Prey Veng Province in Cambodia, and Djibouti in East Africa since mid September, and then extended to Mauritania in West Africa and Fatik in Senegal in October 2023. Until today, we have completed over 6100 free restoration surgeries in five countries, bringing light to many patients and bringing them back to life.

在2023年10月18日，第三届「一带一路」国际合作高峰论坛在北京召开，当中举办多场专题论坛。共享基金会是唯一在「民心相通」专题论坛发言的香港机构，我们的工作被正式认证为「一带一路」「民心相通」务实成果。

On October 18, 2023, the third the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing, where several special forums were held. The Sharing Foundation is the only Hong Kong institution that spoke at the "People to People" forum. Our work has been officially certified as a practical achievement of "the Belt and Road" and "People to People".

基金会亦十分重视培育未来医疗人道救援者，与中国内地、香港及海外多间大学合作，为有意投身海外救援工作的学生提供平台，让他们有机会到走出校园，亲身参与人道救援工作。

The foundation also attaches great importance to cultivating future medical and humanitarian rescuers, collaborating with multiple universities in mainland China, Hong Kong, and overseas to provide a platform for students who are interested in participating in overseas rescue work, giving them the opportunity to go out of campus and participate in humanitarian rescue work firsthand.

基金会集合中国的民间力量及中国人的善心，与受援国共享医疗技术，打造一个共享的国际交流的平台，充分体现「民心相通」。

The foundation gathers the strength of the Chinese people and the kindness of the Chinese people to share medical technology with recipient countries, creating a shared international exchange platform that fully reflects "people-to-people communication".
