Mohamed Mokhtar是拥有塞内加尔国籍的毛里塔尼亚商人。他昨日（12月7日）在毛里塔尼亚接受黑龙江医疗队的白内障复明手术治疗，成为接受了共享基金会全球第8000宗免费白内障手术的患者。

Mohamed Mokhtar is a Mauritanian businessman with Senegalese citizenship. Yesterday (December 7), he was treated by a medical team from Heilongjiang Province in Mauritania, becoming the 8,000th patient to receive a free cataract surgery from the Sharing Foundation worldwide.

Mohamed Mokhtar在塞内加尔工作了8年，由于他是家中的经济支柱，所以患上白内障后，仍继续努力挣钱养妻活儿。他既是一位尽责的丈夫，也是一位受敬爱的祖父。

Mohamed Mokhtar has been working in Senegal for eight years, and since he is the breadwinner of his family, he continues to struggle to earn money to support his wife even after developing cataracts. He was both a devoted husband and a beloved grandfather.

手术后，他因为恢复视力而感到十分高兴，将继续成为毛里塔尼亚和塞内加尔之间的桥梁，而共享基金会则会继续贡献香港力量，成为中外民心相通桥梁。

After the surgery, he was very happy to recover his eyesight and will continue to serve as a bridge between Mauritania and Senegal, while the GX Foundation will continue to contribute to Hong Kong and become a bridge between the peoples of China and the rest of the world.

共享基金会现时已经在五个一带一路国家包括老挝、柬埔寨、吉布提、毛里塔尼亚及塞内加尔完成超过8000宗免费白内障手术，为无数患者重见光明。

The Sharing Foundation has completed more than 8,000 free cataract surgeries in five Belt and Road countries, including Laos, Cambodia, Djibouti, Mauritania and Senegal, restoring sight to countless patients.
